They are the Lumix DMC-FS12, FS62 and FS42, where the FS12 will come equipped with a 12 megapixel sensor, a 4x optical zoom and a 2.7″ LCD display which sees the introduction of Intelligent Auto mode, Optical Image Stabilization and Face Detection. As for the FS42 and FS62, both of them will come with 10 megapixel goodness, 4x zoom lenses, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector and Face Detection, although the latter will pack in image stabilization as well. No idea on pricing for all three models but they fall under the mid-range scheme of things. I take my MinoHD everywhere I go, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to create high definition videos without spending a fortune on a full size HD camera. What I like the most about it, is that you can quickly upload videos to your YouTube channel, and when you travel you don’t have to worry about carrying all kinds of cables and power adapters because the Flip Mino has a flip-out USB arm that lets your computer recharge it. You can also edit the videos with the included software, or use your own video editing programs like iMovie. The MinoHD is also available in black, and features 4GB of memory along with a 720p resolution. I can usually record up to one hour of footage, which can be a problem if you forget to clear old footage. I wish it had an SD slot because battery life is excellent and so is the video quality. Many of the videos on Techie Diva are done with the Flip Mino, and one reason I like it is because the microphone faces the subject being recorded so sound quality is pretty great. You can personalize your Flip Mino HD or choose the limited edition chrome MinoHD. You can view more details on Flip.com. (Via Techie Diva)

If you’re heading to the gym with an iPhone strapped to your arm, you better think twice about running an extra 20 minutes on the treadmill. I understand that you want to get your bod in shape for the beach, but please, leave the iPhone at home unless you want to ruin it with your sweat. CNet touched on this topic after a KPRC reporter in Houston investigated consumer complaints that iPhones were being ruined by their sweaty palms. Apparently, sweaty customers are tripping the iPhone’s moisture sensor, and are told by Apple reps that they see these types of complaints all the time. But is Apple doing anything to address the problem? Probably not. When asked if Apple plans to warn consumers about this danger, they were directed to an iPhone 3G manual that says to avoid getting moisture in the device’s openings (headphone jack, connector, etc). CNet writer David Martin, says the moisture sensors on the iPhone are very accessible at the bottom of the phone, compared to your average handset, which have the sensors located under its removable battery. This whole mess sounds like a design flaw, and one Apple should address soon. Unfortunately, this type of water damage is not covered by warranty, so if you’re having problems with your phone, you better get a better case that covers any exposed openings, or just leave the device at home when you head to the gym.
